What can I include in a service plan?

A service plan consists of pre-payments for a predetermined service or repair. So, you can include anything you want as long as it sits within that scope and you include it on the original estimate you upload to the platform. Typically, plans consist of an annual MOT and service, but can include tyres, wet belts, etc.

Can a customer cancel their plan?

Yes, a plan can be cancelled at any time and it is between the customer and the garage to agree what happens to any remaining balance. It can be refunded to the customer (minus a small admin fee if you desire) or held on account for future work.

Where is the money held?

ServiceSplit does not hold money, we deposit monthly payments to garages. Garages hold these funds on account as part of their contracted agreement to the customer combined with the original estimate for services they will be providing.

What does ServiceSplit cost?

The ServiceSplit platform costs just £10 per month. There is also a small cost per transaction. The average 12 month plan will cost roughly £13 over 12 payment collections and payouts.

Why should I offer ServiceSplit to my customers?
